Dr. Rinky Kapoor & Dr. Debraj Shome were honored for their continued excellence in making the art and science of cosmetic dermatology & aesthetic surgery progress in India and making Mumbai one of the leading destinations for cosmetic dermatology & cosmetic surgery in India & world over.

Dr. Debraj Shome, who founded The Esthetic Clinics in India was named the “Best Plastic Surgeon in India 2015” at the Healthcare Excellence Summit 2015, held on 9th December 2015. The award was presented by esteemed representatives of the Government of India. Honorable Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare (Govt. of India) Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, and Mr. C. P. Thakur, MP & Former Union Cabinet Minister (Govt. of India), amongst a panel a dignitaries and who’s-who of the healthcare industry, presented this award to Dr. Debraj Shome, in recognition of his superlative efforts and achievements in facial plastic surgery, at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi, India.

Dr. Rinky Kapoor, cosmetic dermatologist and laser skin expert from The Esthetic Clinics was named the “Best Dermatologist in India” for the year 2015, at the Healthcare Excellence Summit 2015, organized by Worldwide Achievers. The award was bestowed upon Dr. Kapoor by esteemed guests, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Honorable Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare (Government. of India), and Dr. C. P. Thakur, MP & Former Union Cabinet Minister (Govt. of India), in appreciation for Dr. Kapoor’s excellence in healthcare delivery & excellence in clinical skin care & skin research. The event was organized at Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi, India, on 9th December 2015.

Dr. Rinky Kapoor was invited as a Faculty Speaker and Chair of multiple sessions at the International Master Course on Aging Science, November 2015, Goa, India.

Dr. Kapoor was invited to speak on newer advances in non surgical hair growth therapies & the use of the CO2 laser in facial rejuvenation in Indian skin. Dr. Kapoor also presented her series of 4000 patients treated with the Carbon Dioxide Laser resurfacing treatment – This is the largest series of patients treated with the CO2 laser for facial rejuvenation, in India. Dr. Kapoor also chaired multiple sessions, one on the lasers with evidence based medicine, in which luminaries from all over the world presented & another session on the best treatment for scars.

Dr. Debraj Shome was invited as a Faculty Speaker and Chair of multiple sessions at the International Master Course on Aging Science, November 2015, Goa, India.

Dr. Shome was invited to speak on subtle 0.5 mm ptosis corrections & their impact on the facial symmetry, the different techniques of treating the nasolabial folds & the different problems affecting the under eye area and their correction. Dr. Shome also presented his series of 200 patients with the mid face lift – a scar free technique to remove facial wrinkles and drooping – This is the largest series of patients treated with the mid face lift, in India. Dr. Shome also chaired multiple sessions, one on the suspending devices in which luminaries like Dr. Benjamin Ascher, a top plastic surgeon from France, presented and another on avoiding filler injection complications.

Dr. Rinky Kapoor invited on the panel of the well renowned beauty pageant MRS INDIA GLOBE 2015 as a Groomer and Judge. The event was held at Hotel Ramee Guest line, Juhu, Mumbai, on 5th November 2015. Dr. Kapoor is seen here instructing the contestants on how to look beautiful and have glamorous looking skin naturally.

Dr. Rinky Kapoor with Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti – Bangkok, Thailand.Dr. Kapoor visited Dr. Manuskiatti in August 2009, in Bangkok, Thailand. He is the Head of the Siriraj Skin laser center at Siriraj Government Hospital, Mahidol University, and Head of Dermatologic laser surgery at the internationally acclaimed Bumrungrad International Hospital, Thailand. Dr. Kapoor observed and assisted Dr. Manuskiatti in the clinic, as well as framed projects for studies on Asian skin types and newer treatment modalities for Asian skins. Bangkok being one of the recent hubs for cosmetic dermatology procedures, it was a great learning experience for Dr. Kapoor too.

It was here that she further trained in Cosmetic Dermatology, Dermatosurgery and laser surgery. Dr. Kapoor considers herself very fortunate to have been able to acquire her advanced Cosmetic dermatology training at arguably one of the best centers in the world. This entire experience helped her build contacts worldover with the best in the field and equipped her with a sound knowledge and knowhow of laser surgery, which reflects in the infrastructure at ‘The Esthetic Clinic’.
